Barhait Election Result 2024: Hemant Soren Leads Against BJP Candidate

Barhait Assembly election is the focus constituency of Jharkhand as the current Chief Minister of Jharkhand and member of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) is contesting here. BJP Gamaliyan Hembrom is running against Soren in Barhait. As per the election commission’s prediction, Hemant Soren is leading the constituency against the BJP candidate Gamaliyan Hembrom in Barhait.

In the 2019 elections, Hemant Soren secured a victory with 73,725 votes against his nearest competitor Simon Marandi who got 47,985 votes. In 2014, also Soren remained successful with 62,515 votes while BJP Hemlal Murmu secured 38,428 votes.
