Kadwa Election Result 2025: JD(U)’s Dulal Chandra Goswami Defeats Congress’ Shakeel Ahmad Khan

The Kadwa Assembly seat has delivered a clear mandate, with JD(U)’s Dulal Chandra Goswami securing a convincing win by a margin of 18,368 votes over Congress’s senior leader Shakeel Ahmad Khan. With all 26 rounds counted, Goswami surged ahead early and maintained his lead throughout the counting process.

The third position went to AIMIM’s Md. Shakir Reza with 11,557 votes, while independents and the Jan Suraaj Party remained far behind.

Kadwa, part of the Katihar Lok Sabha region, once again witnessed a multi-cornered contest. However, the battle ultimately centred on JD(U) and Congress, with JD(U) successfully consolidating its influence in the Seemanchal belt.

The constituency, known for its unpredictable results over the years, saw a relatively clear verdict this time as Dulal Chandra Goswami emerged victorious with a comfortable margin.
