Litipara Election Result 2024: JMM's Hemlal Murmu Is Leading

Litipara constituency is one of the 81 Assembly constituencies of Jharkhand. The election in Litipara was held in the Second Phase on November 20. As per the Election Commission predictions, Hemlal Murmu for Jharkhand Mukti Morcha is leading against the BJP candidate Babudhan Murmu in Litipara currently.

Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress and JMM alliance are the major political parties contesting in the Litipara. BJP has fielded Babudhan Murmu against JMM’s Hemlal Murmu to contest the assembly elections 2024. The NCP Shivcharan Malto and JLKM Mark Bakey are the other contending candidates.

In the 2019 Assembly elections, JMM Dinesh William Marandi secured victory from the Litipara with 66675 votes. Dinesh William Marandi won against BJP Daniel Kisku who got 52772 votes. The JMM secured 46.2% of the total votes.
