2025 has been a notable year for gold amid high uncertainties due to rising geopolitical tensions, tariff wars, and growing recession fears. The metal has seen huge fluctuations, and eventually reached record heights.

The metal had an exceptional rally in 2025. Notably, the predictions also see the gold price not going to bow as further rise is expected. According to the calculations of major institutions like the World Gold Council, Goldman Sachs, and Kotak Securities, the gold price may see a further 20–30% upside for gold in 2026.

Based on the current trend, market drivers estimate that the gold  prices could potentially move into around Rs 1.5 to Rs 1.75 lakh range per 10 grams during 2026, as the persistent geopolitical tensions and tariff-related risks continue to support gold’s role as a preferred wealth-protection asset for investors.
