Airfares Between India And UAE Rising Faster Than Other International Routes: Report
The airfares between India and the United Arab Emirates are rising significantly, with peak season witnessing an average fare increase by up to 25 percent. The airfare hike is faster than those on other international routes, according to a report by Khaleej Times.
Airfares to other countries, including Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom and other countries, rose by less than 20 percent during their respective peak periods.

The UAE-India and UAE-Saudi Arabia air corridors have been ranked among the world’s 20 busiest air corridors in terms of seat capacity in February 2026, with India-UAE being the world’s fifth busiest air route with 2.08 million seats.
Travel industry experts in the UAE have been calling for increased capacity due to the high demand. However, solution remains elusive as talks are stagnant between the two countries.
