Markets On Decline, Nifty Down Below 19300, Sensex At 365 Points Low, Flat For The Week

Markets today closed at a decline, in red. Sectoral indices also dittoed.

FMCG, PSU banks, metal, pharma, realty, power – all were down, BSE midcap and small cap were also down.

Nifty recorded 19,265.80, low at 120.90 points (62%) at closing. The Nifty high was at 19,339.55 and low at 19,229.70.

The BSE Sensex closed at 64,886.83 at a low of 365.83 points (0.56%). Sensex high was at 65,106 and low was at 64,732.

The NSE top gainers were Jio Financial Services Ltd., Bajaj Finserv, Asian Paints and ONGC. The top losers are Larson and Turbo, Dr. Reddys, JSW Steel, Adani Ports and Adani enterprises.

Both the benchmark indices have stayed flat for the week. Nifty could stay in the negative trend.
