CA Sep 2025: Mukund Agiwal, Disha Ashish, Vrinda Agiwal, Top Final, Inter, And Foundation

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the results for Chartered Accountants (CA) Final, Intermediate, and Foundation Examinations held in September 2025. The results reveal a consistently high level of difficulty across all stages of the course, and an overall pass percentage confirms the rigorous nature of the CA qualification, with only a small fraction of candidates successfully clearing the exams.

A total of 11,466 candidates have successfully qualified as Chartered Accountants following the declaration of the Final Examination results.

 At the entry-level, the CA Foundation Examination saw an overall pass percentage of 14.78%, with 14,609 candidates passing out of 98,827 who appeared. Male candidates secured a slightly better pass rate at 15.74% compared to 13.76% for female candidates.

In the Intermediate stage, the pass percentages varied significantly between groups, highlighting differential difficulty. Group-II recorded a notably strong pass rate of 27.14%, while Group-I had a challenging pass rate of only 9.43%. The combined pass rate for candidates attempting both Intermediate groups simultaneously was 10.06%.

Similarly, in the CA Final Examination, the difficulty of clearing both groups together was evident, with a pass rate of 16.23%. Candidates appearing for individual groups performed better, with Group-I passing at 24.66% and Group-II at 25.26%.

The top achievers demonstrated exceptional performance, setting high benchmarks for the respective examinations. Mukund Agiwal from Dhamnod secured the All India Rank 1 (AIR 1) in the CA Final Examination with 83.33%, followed by Tejas Mundada (Hyderabad) and Bakul Gupta (Alwar) at AIR 2 and AIR 3, respectively.

The CA Intermediate Examination was topped by Disha Ashish Gokhru from Mumbai, achieving 85.50%. She was closely followed by Devidan Yash Sandeep (Aurangabad) at AIR 2, while Yamish Jain (Jaipur) and Nilay Dangi (Udaipur) shared the AIR 3 spot.

In the CA Foundation Examination, Vrinda Agiwal from Ghaziabad secured the AIR 1 with 90.5%, with Yadnesh Rajesh Narkar (Mumbai) and Shardul Shekhar Vichare (Thane) securing AIR 2 and AIR 3.

The results collectively underscore the intense competition and challenging standards maintained by ICAI, ensuring that only the most dedicated and proficient candidates advance to become Chartered Accountants.
