CBSE Cancels Class 12 Board Exams In Middle East Countries
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the cancellation of class 12 board exams scheduled from March 16, 2026, to April 10, 2026. The decision was made after reviews of inputs obtained and requested from schools and authorities in the affected countries.
“All examinations of Class XII scheduled from March 16 to April 10 stand cancelled in case of the students from Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE”, CBSE has said.
Also, the exams which were postponed earlier, dated March 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9 have been cancelled by the CBSE.

The CBSE has said that the mode of declaration of results for Class XII candidates in these countries will be notified separatedly in due course.
Notably, CBSE has already announced the cancellation of the Class 10th board exams in the Middle East countries amid the ongoing US-Israel-Iran conflict in the region.
