The CUET UG 2025 exam underwent notable reforms aimed at streamlining the process and reducing stress on students. One of the biggest changes was the reduction in the number of test papers from 61 in previous years to just 37 this time. Additionally, students were allowed to select a maximum of five subjects, bringing more focus and flexibility to their choices.

The examination was conducted in multiple shifts, with different sets of question papers for each shift. To ensure fairness across these varied papers, the National Testing Agency (NTA) implemented a percentile-based normalisation system.

This statistical approach helped maintain equity in scoring, regardless of the shift in which a student appeared. The results have been calculated strictly on the basis of the final answer key released by NTA.

Importantly, the agency has clearly stated that no requests for rechecking or re-evaluation of answer sheets will be entertained under any circumstances. Postponed subjects, including Accountancy, Tamil, and Urdu, were also included in this result cycle.
