The National Testing Agency has released the provisional answer keys and Question Paper with Recorded Responses for the Provisional Answer Key of UGC – NET June 2024. The Provisional Answer Key(s) for UGC – NET June 2024 (Rescheduled) Examination conducted on 27th, 28th, 29th & 30th August 2024 and 02nd, 03rd, 04th & 05th September 2024 along with the Question Paper with Recorded Responses are available on the website – ugcnet.nta.ac.in – for candidates to challenge.
The UGC NET June 2024 (Rescheduled) Examination was held in Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode for 83 subjects in different Cities across the country.

Candidates who are not satisfied with the answer key may challenge the same by paying a fee of Rs 200 per question a non-refundable fee. As per the official notification released by the NTA, the duration of the answer key challenge is September 11 2024 from 6 pm to September 13 2024 till 11:50 pm. The last date for payment submission is September 13, 2024.
The payment for the challenge should be made through only mode via Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI Payment Modes. No challenge will be accepted without receipt of the processing fee.
The challenges made by the candidates will be verified by the panel of subject experts. If the challenge of any candidate is found correct, the anser key will be revised and applied accordingly. The result will be prepared after the release of the final answer key.
Procedure for Challenge of Answer Key(s) of UGC – NET June 2024 (Rescheduled) Examination
Step 1: Go to NTA website – ugcnet.nta.ac.in
Step 2: Click ‘Challenge (s) regarding Answer Key’
Step 3: Login with your Application Number and Date of Birth and enter the security pin as displayed and submit.
Step 4: Click on “View Answer Sheet” for marked responses and to view or challenge the Answer keys, click on the link Click “Challenge” button to view provisional answer keys and challenge the questions.
Step 5: Question IDs will appear in sequential order.
Step 6: The ID next to the question under the column ‘Correct Option(s)’ stands for the correct Answer Key to be used by NTA. The Dropped Questions are highlighted and not for challenge.
Step 7: If you wish to challenge this option, you may use any one or more of the Option IDs given in the next four columns by clicking the check box.
Step 8: You may upload supporting documents in which you can select ‘Choose File’ and upload (all documents to be put in a single pdf file).
Step 9: After clicking your desired option, scroll down, ‘Submit and review Claims’ and move to the nextscreen.
Step 10: You will see a display of all the Option IDs you have challenged.
Step 11: Click on ‘Modify your Claims’ in case you wish to modify the claims OR ‘Final Submit’.
Step 12: After saving the claims, you will find a screen displaying your Challenges.
Step 13: Kindly pay the fee by clicking on ‘Pay Now’. The claims will be saved finally after successful payment of requisite fee.
Step 14: Select mode of payment and pay your fee @ Rs.200/- for each question challenged. Make payment through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI.
