Over 1.47 Lakh Students Placed In Compartment Category In CBSE Class 10 Board Exams

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the class 10 board exams 2026 today, on April 15, 2026. Students can check the official websites to know their performance, along with apps such as UMANG and the DigiLocker website.

An overall 93.7% students have secured success in the class 10 board exams out of the total 23 lakh students who appeared for the exams.

As per the official reports, CBSE has placed over 1.47 lakh students in the compartment category. However, as per the two board examination policy, students will get another chance to improve their performance. Also, LoC will start from April 16, 2026, only for 5 days.

Notably, the second board examinations are proposed to start from Mid-May. In this regard, a circular has already been issued and is available on the website.

CBSE provides a transparent policy where students who are not satisfied with their marks may avail the following facilities

  • They can obtain a photocopy (scanned copy) of their answer book.
  • Verification of marks or re-evaluation or both.

These facilities can only be availed online and will be made available only after second board examination.
