RPSC RAS 2024 Over 300 Vacancies Increased
The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has revised the number of posts to be filled through the Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Combined Competitive Examination (RPSC RAS 2024). According to the notification, the commission has increased number of vacancies to 1,096 from the earlier announced 733 posts. The prelims examination for RPSC RAS 2024 was conducted on February 2, 2025. The exam was held in a single shift from 12 pm to 3 pm. The paper consisted of objective-type questions and carried a total of 200 marks. The questions were set at the bachelor’s degree level, and candidates had three hours to complete the test. Also, the exam will have negative marks for incorrect responses.
Following the completion of the prelims exam, RPSC issued a provisional answer key. Candidates who found discrepancies in the answers were allowed to submit objections between February 3 and February 5.
Candidates who clear the prelims exam will proceed to the next stages of the selection process, including the main written examination and the interview/personality test. It is important to note that the prelims exam serves only as a screening test, and its marks will not be considered in the final merit calculation.

The next step in the selection process is the release of the final answer key for the prelims exam, followed by the declaration of results. Candidates are advised to stay updated through the official RPSC website for further notification and results announcments.
