UGC NET June 2024 Exam Cancelled At A Centre In Varanasi

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has notified the cancellation of the UGC NET June 2024 (rescheduled) examination held in the second shift at Dr. Ghanshyam Singh College of Education, Varanasi on August 21, 2024.

As per the notice, the UGC-NET June 2024 exam scheduled to be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode could not be conducted due to technical glitches.

NTA has said to examine all the students of the centre who appeared in the second shift. Further information regarding this will be issued by the NTA. “NTA has decided to re-conduct the examination of all the candidates allotted to this Centre on 21.08.2024 in shift – II. The date, time, and venue of the exam will be notified by NTA through a separate Public Notice in this regard”, it said.

The NTA conducted the UGC NET June 2024 examination on August 21. The Day 1 of the examination concluded in two shifts. In the first shift from 9 am to 12 pm candidates appeared for English, Japanese, Performing Arts and Electronics papers. In the second shift, from 3 pm to 6 pm, English, Dogri, Spanish, Russian, Persian, Comparative Study of Religions and Hindu Studies papers were conducted.

The UGC NET examinations will end on September 4.
