UGC NET June 2024 Result To Be Announced Tomorrow, Oct 18: NTA
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the result of the UGC NET June 2024 exam will be announced by October 18, 2024. The national testing agency has announced the news on social media X. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check it via the official website – ugc.net.nta.ac.in.

The UGC NET June 2024 exams were conducted from August 21 to September 4, 2024, in Computer Based Test mode. Once the result is announced candidates will be able to check their scorecards using their application numbers and date of birth.
A fake screenshot claiming the UGC NET result page has gone viral on social media that caused panic and confusion among students. However, now the testing agency has officially announced the result date on its social media account on X.
The delayed result has caused frustration among students and a loss of credibility for the testing agency over conducting examinations and declaring results. In support of the student’s cause Supreme Court lawyer Ujjawal Gaur wrote a letter to UGC and NTA showcasing their concerns and ensuring justice.

The final answer keys and provisional answer keys have already been published on the official website of NTA. In the UGC NET exam, each correct answer earns two points and there is no penalty for incorrect responses. The unanswered questions do not receive any points.
To be eligible for the UGC NET 2024, candidates from the General and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) need to secure 55% of their Master’s degree. The SC/ST/PwD and third gender categories students require a minimum of 50% marks.
