UPSC CSE 2026: JMI RCA Application Process To Start Soon

The Residential Coaching Academy, Jamia Millia Islamia, is set to invite applications for free coaching for the UPSC CSE 2026 examination cycle. Candidates can visit the JMI’s official website – admission.jmi.ac.in to fill the application forms.

The application forms are likely to be out in the third week of April. Last year, the application process started on April 25, 2026.

The entrance test will be held in twelve cities, including Delhi, Jaipur, Srinagar, Jammu, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Mumbai, Patna, Kolkata, Lucknow, Bengaluru, and Calicut (Keralam).

The selection process follows the same as the UPSC CSE, which includes a written exam (prelims and mains) and a personality test.

The written test comprises General Studies (objective type) and Essay Writing on the UPSC model. Both the papers would be in English/Hindi/Urdu. The test is to assess the candidate’s knowledge of general awareness, logical and critical thinking, reasoning, comprehension, and the ability to express themselves in an organised and structured manner.

There would be negative marking for objective type questions in the test. One of the marks will be deducted for a wrong answer. The total duration of the exam will be three hours.

Notably, JMI RCA provides UPSC CSE coaching to the minority students, women (from all categories), SC/ST students.
