
When Will MCC NEET UG Counseling 2025 Start?
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is expected to start the online counselling process for MBBS and BDS seats. Candidates qualified for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate 2025 will be able to submit their applications on the official website: mcc.nic. in.
Candidates will be able to apply for the MBBS, BDS, and other courses, including veterinary, life science, and nursing courses, using the NEET UG score.
The counselling will be an online process till seat allocation, following which the shortlisted candidates need to report to their allotted medical colleges to confirm their admission.

The NEET UG counseling takes place first in two rounds, followed by a stray vacancy round and a special stray vacancy round.
MCC holds counselling for the following categories of seats:
- 15 percent of All India Quota seats, MBBS/BDS seats of states
- 100 percent MBBS/BDS seats of BHU
- 100 percent MBBS seats of AIIMS across India
- 100 percent JIPMER seats, 100 percent AMU seats
- 85 percent of state quota seats of DU/I.P University, 100 percent BDS of Jamia Millia Islamia, along with the 5% internal quota of Jamia students
- 15 percent IP quota seats of ESIC
Recently, the MP High Court had ordered to National Testing Agency (NTA) to hold the retest of NEET UG for candidates affected by the power cut during the examination, noting that they were placed at a disadvantage via no fault of their own.
