Viral Video: BJP Activists Claim They Did Bogus Voting, Prevented Congress Booth Agents In Sagar

A video has emerged on social media in which BJP activists are reportedly seen claiming they engaged in bogus voting in Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar. In the video, they can be heard stating that they prevented Congress polling agents from reaching the booths. The BJP activists are making these claims in the presence of Sagar MP Lata Wankhede, who was elected on a BJP ticket, defeating Congress’ Chandra Bhusan Singh Bundela in the 2024 general elections.

After the video went viral, Congress demanded answers from the Election Commission of India regarding the matter.

“BJP workers are openly admitting, in front of the BJP MP from Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, that they did bogus voting in her favor & prevented Congress polling agents from reaching the booths. I’m waiting to see how Election Commission responds to this and what actions they will initiate,” asked Congress’ national spokesperson Dr Shama  Mohamed.
