'Aasha' Movie Review: Safar Sanal's Debut Thriller Wins Hearts; Urvashi And Joju George Shine
Directed by Safar Sanal and co-written by Safar Sanal, Joju George, and Ramesh Girija, Malayalam movie ‘Aasha’ hit the big screens on Friday, September 12. Moviegoers have been praising the film’s storyline, direction, and actors’ performances, calling it a gripping thriller with well-placed comedies.
In the intense, character-driven film, the story traces how a single choice can quietly transform the course of several lives. According to Adarsh, a film critic on X, ‘Aasha’ is the kind of thriller that makes audience sit up and pay close attention throughout the movie.

Another person, Aslam, hailed the screen presence and the acting of the leading actors, saying Urvashi and Joju are simply phenomenal. “Both of them completely own the screen,” he opined, adding that the movie is brilliantly executed and the technical side is also superb. “Aishwarya Lekshmi is also nice. The making is another major highlight,” he added.

Stephen gabrie, another movie reviewer, said the movie worked more than expected, calling it a simple and emotional drama. The reviewer also echoed similar views that Urvashi and Joju George delivered a deep and intense performance.
