Actress Sanchita Ugale, 22, Dies By Suicide
Actress Sanchita Ugale, who rose to fame from the film ‘Chhaava’ and popular TV serials ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ and ‘Wagle Ki Duniya’ has died by suicide. The actress reportedly hanged herself with a saree from a ceiling fan on Sunday, June 14. She was 22.
The incident took place on June 14 at her residence in Sai Santoshi Building in Aachole Village, Nalasopara East adjacent to Mumbai. The actress was alone at her home when she hanged herself. Police said that Sanchita had locked herself inside her bedroom and allegedly hanged herself from a ceiling fan using a saree between 7 pm and 7:30 pm.
Police said that it has registered a case in the jurisdiction of Acholi Police Station in connection with the incident. “The reason for the death will be determined in the investigation. Further action will be taken accordingly… Nothing has been found so far,” said API Vinod Bagh of Achole Police Station.
However, the officer added that the actress’ father said he has no complaints against anyone…”
