Historical Epic 'Chhaava' Hits OTT Platform This Friday
Laxman Utekar directorial Chhaava is all set for OTT release on Friday, April 11. The movie is going to be streamed exclusively on Netflix, after a successful run in theaters. Produced by Dinesh Vijan for Maddock Films, the film, a biopic of 17th century Maratha king takes audience through the legendary life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, one of the greatest warriors in India.
The film hit the big screen on February 14, and received a massive theatrical response, collecting nearly Rs 500 crore from India and around Rs 787 crore globally.

Vicky Kaushal played the role of the Maharaj in a grand historical spectacle, and the reviewers have hailed the actor, calling his performance Steller in the legendary character in Chhaava. In addition, the audience was also left in awe by the film’s gripping storytelling, exceptionably impressive soundtrack by the legendary A. R. Rahman, lyrics penned by Irshad Kamil, and the performances by the cast.
Speaking about the Netflix arrival of Chhaava, the actor said that playing Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj was an honor beyond words and one of the most fulfilling experiences of his career.
