As the trend of re-releases gets traction among the audience, here comes another Hindi film to make its return to the theaters. More than the relatively recent films, the re-release of old classics are piquing the interest of the audience. The next in line is the 2000-released Tum Bin.
Get ready to revisit Sandali Sinha and Himanshu Malik’s Tum Bin, the directorial debut of Anubhav Sinha. Sharing the exciting news, Sinha shared the film’s poster and announced the re-release date. The film will again hit the theaters on September 20.

Tum Bin was the first film directed by Anubhav and was released on July 13, 2001. With the emotional plot and soulful soundtrack, the film is still considered one of the favorites of fans. Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the T-Series banner, the film introduced a fresh cast of Priyanshu Chatterjee, Sandali Sinha, Himanshu Malik, and Raqesh Bapat.
The soulful soundtracks were composed by the duo Nikhil-Vinay. Songs like Koi Fariyaad, and Tumhare Siva, and the title track became instant classics.

Tum Bin explores themes of love, loss, and redemption. The plot follows Shekhar (Priyanshu), a man haunted by guilt after causing a tragic accident as he tries to atone by helping the family of the deceased. In the process, he forms a bond with the victim’s fiancée (Sandali). The film was a massive hit at the time of its release and garnered about Rs. 8.28 crores, while the budget of the making is just Rs 2 crores.
