Aryan Khan’s ‘The Ba***ds Of Bollywood’ Teaser Drops On Netflix: Fans Call Him SRK’s Xerox Copy

The much-awaited teaser of Aryan Khan’s debut web series The Ba***ds of Bollywood has finally been unveiled on Netflix India’s YouTube channel.

Written and directed by Aryan himself, the satirical drama instantly grabbed attention — not only for its bold theme but also because fans believe Aryan looks and sounds like a “Xerox copy” of his father, Shah Rukh Khan.

The teaser opens with the iconic violin tune from Mohabbatein, instantly evoking memories of Shah Rukh Khan’s timeless romantic legacy. But just as nostalgia begins to take hold, Aryan Khan cleverly flips the narrative.

Aryan makes a surprise cameo instead of staying behind the camera. Delivering the line, “Picture toh saalon se baki hai, par show ab shuru hoga,” Aryan gave a fresh spin to one of Shah Rukh’s iconic dialogues.

Fans were quick to point out the uncanny resemblance in his voice, smile, and dialogue delivery to the Bollywood superstar. One fan wrote, “I genuinely thought it was SRK doing the voiceover!” while another quipped, “SRK relaunching himself — that’s it.”

The series stars Lakshya (of Kill fame) and Sahher Bambba in lead roles, alongside Mona Singh, Manoj Pahwa, Manish Chaudhari, Raghav Juyal, Gautami Kapoor, and Anya Singh.

Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, the show explores the glittering yet chaotic world of Bollywood through the eyes of an ambitious outsider and his friends. Blending dark humour with high-stakes drama, the series promises unforgettable cameos and an insider’s take on the Hindi film industry.

Aryan Khan co-created the series with Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan. Industry buzz suggests Shah Rukh Khan himself may appear in a cameo. The official preview is set to release on August 20, while the final release date on Netflix will be announced soon.

While Aryan always maintained he was more interested in storytelling than acting, fans are already demanding a full-fledged acting debut. As one fan wrote, Every generation needs an SRK… Aryan has the same charisma, screen presence, and voice. He should seriously consider acting.”
