'DNA' Teaser Out: Atharvaa And Nimisha Sajayan's Twisted Thriller
Written and directed by Nelson Venkatesan, DNA, the new thriller featuring actors Atharvaa and Nimisha Sajayan, is all cooked and ready to offer an intriguing ride. Promising a thrilling entertainer, the trailer for the upcoming venture was dropped today. The teaser was released by actor Dhanush and has been trending on social media since then.
Known for films like Oru Naal Koothu, Monster, and Farhana, director Nelson Venkatesan’s upcoming film is co-written by Athisha Vino.

With Atharvaa and Nimisha Sajayan featuring in the lead roles, the thriller also includes Balaji Sakthivel, Ramesh Thilak, Viji Chandrasekar, Chetan, Riythvika KP, Subramanian Siva, Karunakaran, Pasanga Sivakumar, and others.
Without unveiling much about the plot, the makers offered a sneak peek at the film through a short teaser.
The teaser introduces Atharvaa’s character as a drunkard and Nimisha’s Divya character as a naive woman. The teaser gears up into a chaotic turn of events due to a mysterious cause. Even though the short glimpse conceals major details, it does highlight themes such as love, addiction, trust, and crime.
“Two strands wound around each other to make a twisted ladder,” read the teaser for DNA.
The film went on floors in October 2023 and wrapped filming in July 2024. The makers are yet to lock a release date.

Atharvaa was last seen in Karthick Naren’s Nirangal Moondru. In terms of upcoming projects, he will be a part of Sivakarthikeyan’s 25th film, directed by Sudha Kongara, alongside Jayam Ravi and Sreeleela. He also has Pattathu Arasan, Address, and Thanal in the pipeline.
