Lady Gaga took to the streets of Paris to launch her upcoming album and give a preview to her fans of her forthcoming album tentatively titled LG7.

As the land of Paris has been flooded with excitement with the whole world training its eyes on France, the global pop icon’s performance in for the 2024 Olympics was another highlight and subject to some controversy as well. Gaga performed the cabaret song “Mon Truc en Plumes” during Friday’s opening ceremony.

This amazing treat to the fans came from the singer after watching swimming events and women’s gymnastics (and apparently confirming her engagement to entrepreneur Michael Polansky) over the weekend.

And so, on Sunday evening, an excited Gaga took to her Instagram and said, “I’m so deeply touched by French fans this week outside the hotel, I’m gonna come out and say goodbye tonight – with a few seconds of #LG7.”

The much-awaited moment came soon after the post when the singer played the metallic electronic beat from her laptop. The first snippet lasted about 20 seconds, with the star pumping her fist in the air as she popped out of the sunroof of her limousine.

Then, with a giggle and a kiss, she closed the laptop and disappeared back into the car. Fans stuck around, chanting her name and chanting lines from her songs. And it didn’t end there, the singer reappeared in a minute saying, “I’m sorry, I’m gonna do one more.”

She then played a second clip that recalled the gothic pop sound of her Artpop (2013) album, the star also mouthed a lyric that appeared to be: “I’ve become what was holding me.” And with a message about her, “And for the rest, you have to wait!” the popstar returned to her hotel.

The upcoming album of the singer is more special because this will be her first solo record since 2020’s Chromatica, which produced the hit singles Stupid Love and Rain On Me. In terms of her acting career, Gaga will be seen alongside Joaquin Phoenix in the much awaited sequel (and musical) of the Joker titled Joker: Folie A Deux. Gaga will be essaying the iconic character of Harley Quinn.
