The plot featuring Barroz, a guardian of Vasco da Gama’s secret treasure for 400 years and has been entrusted to hand over it to a true descendent of Gama, is quite interesting. It is an adaptation of Jijo Punnoose’s novel Barroz: Guardian of D”Gama”s Treasure. Mr Punnoose is the director of India’s first 3D film My Dear Kuttichathan (1984). Barroz, produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Ashirvad Cinemas, was handled in terms of cinematography by Santhosh Sivan. Music was done by Lydian Nandhaswaran and Mark Kilian.
