Another Bollywood wedding is here! Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are all set to tie the knot this weekend.  The exciting wedding of Heeramandi actress has been making headlines since the past few days with rumours and speculations in the air. The wedding, which has been storming up the internet for days, has now lit up with the start of the festivities.

Sonakshi and Zaheer are getting married on June 23. Ahead of Sonakshi’s wedding, father Shatrughan Sinha’s Mumbai residence Ramayana has been decorated with lights. The big fat Bollywood wedding festivities kick-started yesterday with the mehendi ceremony.

Last night, a picture from Sonakshi’s mehendi ceremony was shared by the couple’s friend Jafer Ali Munshi. The caption on the picture read, “Soooooooooo excited and Sona is now officially in the Bandstand Bldg A clan.”

In the mehendi photos, Sonakshi can be seen wearing maroon blood-red ethnic wear. The actress was standing beside her to-be husband Zaheer, who wore a kurta and pajama. The Notebook actor completed his look with a pair of sunglasses.

Earlier this week, pictures from Sonakshi and Zaheer’s get-together with their families, posted by stylist Marzia Tyeby Bhobe on her Instagram stories, went viral. The pictures also featured Zaheer’s father Iqbal Ratnasi and Shatrughan Sinha.

Sonakshi who stormed up the internet with her avatar as the vengeful Fareedan and Mother Rehana in Bhansali’s Netflix drama Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, is now glowing in her wedding era.
