On his 51st birthday, Hindi film director Anurag Kashyap received a special message from his Kennedy actress Sunny Leone. The actress, who is collaborating with the maverick actor-director-producer for the first time since her Bollywood debut in 2012, called the Gangs of Wasseypur director as “the man who actually changed the course” of her life.

It is to believed that the actress is talking about the movie Kennedy and her role. Anurag Kashyap”s film Kennedy had received a seven-minute standing ovation from the audience at the Grand Lumiere Theatre when it premiered at the 76th Cannes Film Festival in May 2023.
The movie is about Kennedy, a role portrayed by Rahul Bhat, an insomniac ex-police officer who operates secretly for the corrupt system, lives in different conditions and goes on a lookout for salvation. Sunny Leone plays the role of Charlie in the movie.
