Toxic Trailer Out: Yash Unleashes Brutal Violence As Raya On His Birthday
KGF superstar Yash has set the internet on fire on his birthday with the release of the much-awaited Toxic teaser-trailer today.
Titled Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, the two-minute teaser is raw, violent, stylish, and unapologetically bold. Marking Yash’s most intense avatar yet as Raya.
The teaser crossed 3 million views within just three hours, trending across platforms and sparking massive debate, excitement, and mixed reactions online.
The teaser opens on an eerie note with a funeral scene set in a cemetery, instantly creating a sense of dread and mystery.
The calm is abruptly shattered by the arrival of a car, signalling that chaos is about to unfold.
What follows is a visually provocative sequence inside the car that establishes the film’s central theme: toxicity, power, and moral decay.
Soon, the screen fills with smoke and fog as Yash makes his grand entry as Raya, cigarette in hand. Shirtless and tattooed, he slips into an oversized black coat and delivers a chilling line: “Daddy’s home.”
The moment instantly reminded fans of Rocky Bhai, but Raya feels darker, more dangerous, and far more unpredictable.
As expected, guns blaze, bodies fall, and destruction follows wherever Raya walks. The teaser is packed with stylised violence, slick cinematography, and a menacing background score that elevates every frame.
One particular scene has sparked intense discussion on social media, a moment where having sex with a woman is used as a weapon amid a violent clash.
While many praised the scene for its bold storytelling and shock value, others questioned its portrayal and impact. The teaser has clearly divided opinion, with fans calling it “fearless cinema” and critics urging caution.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic promises a genre-defying cinematic experience. The film is produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations.
Shot in Kannada and English, the film will release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam as dubbed versions, aiming for a massive pan-India and global reach.
The film boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutari and Rukmini Vasanth.
Earlier, the makers had unveiled striking first-look posters of Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth, further building anticipation. Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups hits theatres worldwide on March 19, 2026.
