Major Fire Breaks Out At Jayalakshmi Silks In Kozhikode; Customers, Staff Safely Evacuated

Kozhikode, Kerala: A major fire has broken out at Jayalakshmi Silks in Kozhikode on Tuesday evening, sparking widespread traffic disruptions.

There have been no reports of casualties as the staff and customers were safely evacuated from the textiles. A fire brigade and rescue team rushed to the spot, and efforts are underway to extinguish the fire.

Traffic has been significantly affected during the peak hours, leaving passengers stranded. Passengers in the railway premises have also been stranded as several roads in the area were closed to pave the way for the fire brigade team.

Fire brigade vehicles keep arriving at the spot, as more smoke seems to be coming out, suggesting fire has broken out inside the building.
