I was to raise the issue of the #GazaGenocide‌ in Parliament today during Zero Hour. I have also written to @narendramodi demanding that India must take steps to prevent famine in Gaza and to prevent Israel’s genocide and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians”, Owaisi wrote on X.

His demands include the following steps:

  • The GoI must condemn the Israeli genocide of Palestinians.
  • The GoI must participate and contribute in the airdrops for aid.
  • Airdrops are insufficient in the present case. India must make all efforts to ensure a sustained ceasefire so that humanitarian aid may be delivered to the Gazans at the earliest.
  • The GoI must coordinate a humanitarian response to ensure access to humanitarian aid for Palestinians.
