French Politician Calls Karim Benzema A 'Tacit Supporter' Of Islam

French Politician Jordan Bradella could not accept Karim Benzema wearing Arabian thobe. Mr. Bradella criticised the footballer of “seeking an Islamist lifestyle by moving to Saudi Arabia”.

Mr. Benzema has posted picture of himself adorned in Arabian thobe, bisht (clock that is worn above the thobe) and the Saudi shemagh (the red and white head covering), captioned with “look at the life we have”. He also wished “Happy Saudi national day”.

However, Mr. “Benzegoal”s” sweet note felt “bitter” for the French Politician. In an interview given to BFM TV, Jordan Bradella could not help himself but “snarl begrudgingly” at Mr. Benzema. “Look, atleast he is consistent. He appears to be seeking Islamic Lifestyle by moving to Saudi Arabia”. He called the Algerian-origin French footballer a “tacit supporter of Islamist ideology”.

“He is perhaps one of the greatest French players, but he is accustomed to Islamist practices. He said it feels good to play in a Muslim country. It”s a country where we cut off the hands of those who steal”, Mr. Bradella said. He also said that French would be “better off” if those who aspires an Islamist way of life “chose to live in Islamist countries”.

Footballer in Saudi Arabia wore Saudi”s traditional clothing as part the country”s national day celebration, which is celebrated on September 23. Netizens criticised the President of National Rally for hurling his “hatred” toward Mr. Benzema alone. One of the social media user wished “French politicians would worry less about Islam and more about their people”.

Taking to X (formerly twitter), one of the user wrote, “Cristiano Ronaldo is a Christian, Neymar is Christian. Both wore the same outfit as Karim Benzema. These outfits are part of Saudi and are NOT religious in nature. These photos and spots appear now to celebrate the country”s national day. Mr. Bradella should find out before spewing his hatred”.
