I Hope Football Has A Bright Future In India,' Says Messi After 3-Day "Incredible Visit"
New Delhi: Football legend Lionel Messi went back to Argentina after spending three days in India, on what he calls an amazing tour. Before returning, the Argentina star promised that he would definitely come to the country to play a match.
In a social media post, the GOAT called the tour an incredible visit, expressing his gratitude for the warm welcome, great hospitality and all the expressions of love throughout the tour.
I hope football has a bright future in India,” Messi wrote on his Instagram handle.
The player was accompanied by Inter Miami teammates Rodrigo De Paul and Luis Suárez. He interacted with and played games against children on the field, signing autographs and taking photos.

During his departing speech, Messi thanked all the football fans in the country, adding that it was a truly beautiful experience for us to be able to share.
