It”s the day of final match and after consecutive unbeaten wins, India will meet Australia on the pitch today at 2.00 in the afternoon in Ahmedabad”s Narendra Modi Stadium. The event will be a spectacular entertainment show, the largest among the world, and crores of Indian”s are in huge anticipation that the Men In Blue will raise the cup and secure India the World Cup title for the third time.

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to his X and wished team India while sharing a flyer by the national board of cricket. “All the best Team India! 140 crore Indians are cheering for you. May you shine bright, play well and uphold the spirit of sportsmanship”, wrote the PM.

The Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge in a video message said – “All the best Team India. Wishing you all the best. You come victorious; the whole country is with you”.

The Congress party wished the team “India Jeetega” (India will win) using a flyer comprised of the names of the Indian eleven who are playing the finals.

The Congress leader and chairperson Sonia Gandhi also took a video message to X, which was shared by the party official handle. On congratulating the teams effort she said – “You have continuously given moments of happiness and pride to the entire country. There are big messages in your journey to the final match of this World Cup. That message is of unity, hard work and determination. I want to congratulate the players of Team India on their excellent performance. Today I am remembering the last two occasions when India won the World Cup trophy. First in 1983 and then in 2011”.

“On both those occasions the country was filled with respect and joy. Now that opportunity has come again. Cricket has always worked to unite our country. Now, when you are ready for the final match, the entire nation is standing with you and wishing for your success. My heartiest wishes to you. You have all the qualities to become a world champion. I have full confidence that Team India will win”, she added.

The Congress leader and Member of Parliament Rahul Gandhi wished Men In Blue on Sunday ahead of the match. “Best wishes to the boys in blue for the Cricket World Cup Final. #INDvAUS Play fearlessly – more than a billion hearts beat for you.  Let”s bring it home. Jeetega INDIA!”, he noted.

The West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool leader Mamata Banerjee also wished good luck. “Best wishes and good luck prayers for Team India on a great historic occasion and on the eve of a most dramatic battle of cricket in the world arena!! The entire nation awaits your march and triumph, your command and ascent to pinnacle!! Make us proud, players, make us glorious today!!”, she said on X.

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar also extended his wishes: “I extend my warmest wishes to the Men in Blue as they prepare to face Australia in the Cricket World Cup final today. As the entire nation eagerly awaits for this final spectacular display, play with passion, determination, and unwavering spirit. May our boys” determination and grit lead them to victory!”, he wrote on X.

The Union Home Minister Amit Shah, while the team entered finals noted that: “Enter into the final like a Boss. What an electrifying display of cricketing prowess. All the best for the showdown. Let”s get the cup”.

“The best wishes of 140 crore Indians are with Team India and I have full hope that India will perform well and will create history”, said Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur to the news agency ANI.

The Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Chief Arvind Kejriwal took to his X handle and wished the team. “Best wishes to Team India for the World Cup final. Show your strength, play your best, maintain your winning streak and make history. The entire nation stands with you”, he wrote.
