The Paris 2024 Olympics Opening Ceremony will take place at the Seine river on Friday, July 26. It will be the first time in history of the Games that the Opening Ceremony will not take place inside a stadium and rather take place near the river, which flows through the heart of the historic French capital.

The first-of-a-kind ceremony will witness 10,000 Olympic athletes travelling on around 100 boats through Seine and cross some of Paris’ most favourite destinations like the Notre Dame, Pont des Arts, Pont Neuf and more.
