Fact-Check: No Credible Reports About Lebanese Shiites' Armed Attack On US Embassy In Beirut

Beirut, Lebanon: Several social media posts on X have reported an armed or mob attack on the US Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon by the country’s Shiites. The reports claimed gunfire, trucks moving towards the site, and clashes outside the compound.

However, the claim appears to be misleading as there have been no reports from credible news agencies or media houses about the incident. The unverified footages from a suburb, which many says old footages.

The footage shows nighttime street chaos in a residential Beirut area, including flashing emergency lights, cars, crowds.
