Vespa, an Italian scooter brand that has been around for 80 years. At EICMA 2024 in Milan, the two-wheeler manufacturer debuted the GTS 310, their flagship model. Vespa claims that no other scooter in its lineup can equal the new 310 cc engine in terms of power and responsiveness. This is all the information you want for the Vespa GTS 310.

Engine, Design and Features

Vespa has expanded the size and capacity to 310 cc, based on the liquid-cooled 278 cc engine. Vespa has disclosed that over 70% of the 310 cc engine’s parts are new, guaranteeing enhanced performance. The single-cylinder’s stroke is extended from 63 mm to more than 70 mm, increasing output to 25 horsepower at 7,750 rpm. In order to provide draw force at low speeds, the torque has also been raised to 27.5 Nm at 6000 rpm. Other new parts for the powertrain include a slanted cylinder, injectors, a redesigned starting system, and a crankcase design that drastically lowers drive belt and mechanical noise. The Euro 5+ standard is met by the new engine.

Among the numerous contemporary innovations of the GTS 310 are the disc braking system on both wheels and the ASR system, an electrical traction control device mounted on the 12-inch rims that prevents rear wheel spin. In addition to a black dashboard with a bag hook in the centre console, the Vespa has added a keyless fob in place of the conventional ignition switch for added convenience. The GTS 310 is equipped with an ABS anti-lock braking system, which is a standard feature for all Vespa GTS models. The full-steel bodywork of the Vespa GTS 310 serves as a chassis that supports the weight of the mechanical components and the centrally located engine unit. Two chrome-plated command units with all the control buttons are located in the handlebar.

Three trim levels of the Vespa GTS will be offered: GTS, GTS Super, and GTS SuperSport. Beige Avvolgente, Nero Convinto, and Verde Amabile are among the colors used in the basic edition. Along with the metallic Nero Convinto, the GTS Super is available in two pastel colours: Rosso Coraggioso and Bianco Innocente. Numerous chrome accents are combined with sporty black features, such the front suspension spring and the grips and rubber inserts on the footrests. With its graphite-coloured rims, specialised graphics, and other black accents, the GTS SuperSport exudes boldness and edginess. The emblem has neon orange accents and a carbon-look surface. The black seat has brilliant orange double stitching and horizontal heat-sealed seams. There are five distinct models of this vehicle available.
