Aprilia has invited us to test out a brand-new product in mid-February, and the Tuono 457 will soon be available in India. A little more than a year after the RS 457 made its debut, the Tuono 457 made its debut at EICMA 2024. With its clean, simple lines that encapsulate the athletic spirit of a real Naked, the Aprilia Tuono 457 creates a statement with its design.
The tiny spoiler, with its sophisticated aerodynamics, honours the venerable Tuono 1000 R, while the triple full-LED headlamp cluster replicates Aprilia’s distinctive design. With the broad handlebar, low seat, tapered sides, and great ergonomics of the fuel tank, every detail is the product of practical, sports-oriented design.

In addition to having different style from other Tuonos with higher capacities, the Tuono 457 appears very different from its faired sister. The somewhat smaller fuel tank capacity of the Tuono (12.7 litres compared to 13 litres on the RS 457) is another obvious difference. Nonetheless, the kerb weight of both bikes is the same at 175 kg.
It will be equipped with a 6-speed gearbox, a slip-assisted clutch, and the same 457cc parallel-twin engine that produces 47.6 horsepower and 43.5 Nm. There will be a bi-directional quickshifter available as an add-on.
A 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and three riding modes that modify ABS, traction control, and throttle sensitivity are among the electrical features that the Tuono 457 will inherit from the RS 457. Red and grey will be the two colours available. They are youthful, the most intelligent, and the most perceptive.
Additionally, the Aprilia Tuono 457 is made for these riders. riders who enjoy the rush of road riding and who want exceptional performance and unadulterated enjoyment every single day. They belong to the younger generation of motorcycle riders who will soon experience the rush that only a Tuono can provide.

The Yamaha MT-03 and the KTM 390 Duke will face competition from the Aprilia Tuono 457. Given that the RS 457 is priced at Rs 4.20 lakh (ex-showroom, India), the Tuono is probably going to be priced lower, either at or near the Rs 4 lakh level.
