Mahindra’s first Electric Origin SUVs, the BE 6 and XEV 9e, built on the INGLO platform, are poised to redefine electric mobility in India. Available with two battery options—59 kWh and 79 kWh—the delivery of the 79 kWh models is set to begin in March, with reservations officially opening on 14 February. Test drives commenced on 14 January in Tier 1 cities and expanded to Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities on 24 January. A third phase of test drives is scheduled to begin on 7 February, further widening Mahindra’s electric vehicle presence across the country.

The BE 6 (previously known as BE 6e) and XEV 9e were introduced exactly two months ago, marking a major step forward in Mahindra’s EV strategy. Both SUVs are supported by the innovative INGLO platform, which underpins their advanced features. Customers will be able to choose between the 59 kWh Pack 2 and the 79 kWh Pack 3 battery options, catering to different driving needs. Mahindra will announce the pricing for the entire range of these coupe-style electric SUVs when deliveries for the 79 kWh variants commence in early March.
