In the world of automobile technology, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) are crucial for improving driving ease and vehicle safety. Many sensors are used in these systems, and while each has advantages and disadvantages of its own, they frequently cooperate to offer complete functioning.

As far as safety measures are concerned, Tata Motors is undoubtedly skilled at raising the ante. To continue implementing safety improvements, they have this time implemented ADAS upgrades.

In comparison to OTP, Tata Motors has improved the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) package for the Harrier and Safari, two full-size SUVs. In both SUVs, an ADAS package is included starting with the Adventure + A trim. The entry-level ADAS packages for the Harrier and Safari start at Rs 21.69 lakh and Rs 22.49 lakh, ex-showroom.

ADAS Features

Two new capabilities are available with the latest OTP update for the ADAS package in the Safari and Harrier: adaptive steering assistance and lane keep assist, which are exclusive to the automatic trims. Autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control for automated, front and rear collision warning, traffic sign recognition, blind spot detection, and many more features are already included in the ADAS suite.

Among the safest SUVs on the Indian market are the Harrier and Safari. Global NCAP gave the SUVs a 5-star safety rating since they have seven airbags, an Electronic Stability Program, a tire pressure monitor, an emergency help line, and many other features. The two SUVs received 33.05 out of 34.00 points for adult safety and 45.00 out of 49.00 points for kid safety at the Global NCAP.

Variants’ new colour

There are several paint schemes available for different trims in the Harrier range. Ash Grey is now an option for the base Smart and the Pure variation, which is one step up. The Adventure trim comes in Fearless, which is the iconic Seaweed Green colour. Pebble Grey and Coral Red, the two high-end hues, come in Smart and Pure.

Stardust Ash and Galactic Sapphire are added to the Safari’s Smart and Pure models. The Adventure and Accomplished models, which are the most popular, are painted in Lunar Slate. All Safari models come with the Stellar Frost colour, while the Accomplished model receives Cosmic Gold.
