Admissions Are Open For Jamia Schools For The Academic Session 2024-25

Jamia Schools under the administration of Jamia Millia Islamia are inviting applications for the academic session 2024-25. Admission procedure shall start from February 1, 2024 to February 29, 2024. The online applications can be filled via official website of Controller of Examination. Only online applications are accepted for admission to Classes Nursery, Prep, I, VI, IX, and XI.

Combined prospectus for the Jamia Schools including Jamia Senior Secondary School, SAH Sr. Sec. School (S/F) including Primary Section, Jamia Girls Sr. Sec. School (S/F), Mushir Fatma Nursery School and Balak Mata Centres has been uploaded on the Controller of Examination website.

For admission from Class VI to XI written examination will be conducted and for primary school admission draw of lots will be organised through a live streaming. The Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.) pattern is used in Jamia Millia Islamia”s Secondary (X) and Senior Secondary (XII) examinations. Written test will be conducted in the months of March and April. Respective dates of examination are given under the prospectus.

According to the information given in prospect, 30% of the total number of seats in each course shall be earmarked for the Muslim candidates, 10% seats for Muslim women applicants, 10% for OBC and ST (Muslims) and 5% for PWDs. Special provision is made for Kashmiri migrants. Sports quota will also be provided for admission. Foreign Passport Holders and NRI wards who fulfill the eligibility criteria given in the School Prospectus, but do not wish to appear to the admission/entrance test may apply for admission under Supernumerary seats.

Mentioning that Since Jamia Millia Islamia has been declared a Muslim Minority Institution as per the law laid down by the Supreme Court, the Right to Education Act 2009 (R.T.E Act 2009) does not apply to Jamia Millia Islamia.
