CBSE Class 10 Result Declared: Direct Link

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared Class X Results for the 2023-2024 on May 13, Monday.  Class X Board examinations were conducted from February 15, to March 13, 2024.

The students can now access results through UMANG CBSE Xth 2024 Result (digilocker.gov.in) 

As per official news release, the results are available through official website, cbse.gov.in or cbseresults.nic.in The students can check results through DigiLocker, and UMANG, as mentioned. The mobile applications of DigiLocker and UMANG also provides results. Besides, school-wise result will also be available to schools on their email ids.

To gather Class10 results via SMS, students should compose a text message using the format “CBSE10” and send it to the number 7738299899. The SMS charges differs depending upon the service provider.

The CBSE 10 examination were held at 7612 examination centres over three days. The exams were  conducted in a single shift- from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm on all days. Nearly 39 Lakh candidates appeared for Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations across the country.

This time, 21,84,117 students registered for the exam and 21,65,805 students appeared. The number of students passed the Board exam include 20,16,779. The overall pass percentage comes 93.12 per cent. As per the data released by the board, Thiruvananthapuram has recorded the most pass percentage.

In the pass percentage, Girls excelled boys in the Board examination. As per the results data, 94.25  per cent  of girls cleared the exams,  where pass percentage of boys constitute 92.27 per cent. Last year also, girls performed better than boys in the class 10 exams, where the former securing 94.25 per cent while the latter secured 92.7 per cent.

Besides, 90 per cent of transgenders have also cleared the exam.

Students who are dissatisfied with their results can apply for re-evaluation and students who have failed to clear the exams can appear for the board compartment exams.

CBSE Class 12 results were also declared on Monday. The exams were conducted from February 15 to April 2.
