CBSE Class 10th Board Exam Result Announced, Supplementary Exams And Re-evaluation

The CBSE Class 10th result for session 2023-24 has been declared today, May 13, 2024. The CBSE hosts the results with the technical collaboration of NIC and NeGD, Govt of India. The result is accessible using the following websites-  cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, results.digilocker.gov.in and umang.gov.in.

This year 2238827 students appeared for the Class 10th SSE board exams 2024 and an overall 93.60% of students cleared the examination. Girls secured a higher percentage than boys with a 94.75% pass percentage and 92.71% pass percentage respectively.  An overall 91.30% transgender cleared the exam in the session 2023-24.

A total of 212384 students secured marks over 90 percent which is 9.49 percent of the overall students. 47983 students which 2.14 percent of the overall students successfully secured over 95% marks in their class 10th board exam results.

This year a total of 132337 students which is 5.91 percent of the total students who appeared for the CBSE class X board exams are placed in the compartment category with full subjects which is lower than the last years” 6.22% students.

CBSE Class 10th Board Exam 2024:  Re-evaluation

Students who are not satisfied with their performance can avail the following facilities

  1. Verifty their marks
  2. Request to get the scanned copy of their answer book
  3. Request to re-evaluate their answers.

A separate circular will be issued by the board in this regard. The class X board copies will be re-evaluated once the class XII board copies evaluation is done.

The request for the re-evaluation will be accepted only in online mode. Students must decide in advance whether they want to apply for one subject or multiple subjects. Once applied, no second opportuntity will be accorded to the students.

CBSE Class 10th Board Exam 2024: Supplementary Exams

Under the National Education Policy, 2020 students need to be provided more opportunities to improve their performance. students who are not satisfied with their CBSE class 10 board results or have not cleared the 2 subjects can apply for the supplementary examination.

The following  students are eligible to appear in the supplementary exams

  • Those class X students who were unable to pass 2 subject and are placed in compartment category can apply for the supplementary exams.
  • Those who were declared by replacing 6th and 7th subject can appear in the failed subject.
  • Class X students who wants to improve their performance in 2 subject can also apply for the supplementary exams.

As per the CBSE notification the supplementary exams start form July 15, 2024. The syllabus of the class X board examination will remain same.
