CBSE Class 10 Results: With 99.75% Thiruvananthapuram Tops Among Regions

Following the CBSE Class 12 results declaration, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the Class 10 results on Monday. As per the data released by the board, Thiruvananthapuram has recorded the most pass percentage.

CBSE Class 10 results: Top regions

  2. Vijayawada: 99.60%
  3. Chennai: 99.30%
  4. Bengaluru: 99.26%
  5. Ajmer: 97.10%
  6. Pune: 96.46%
  7. Delhi East: 94.45%
  8. Delhi West:94.18%
  9. Chandigarh: 94.14%
  10. Patna: 92.91%

The CBSE has recorded an overall percentage of 93.60%, a slight increase of 0.48% from last year’s pass percentage of 93.12%. While the pass percentage of girls is 94.75%, the pass percentage of boys is 92.71%.

Last year as well, girls performed better than boys in the class 10 exams, with the former securing 94.25% while the latter secured 92.72%.

Out of the total 22,38,827 students that appeared for the 10th exams, 20,95,467 students have passed.

Students can check their results and download the scorecards from the official websites- www.cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in. The CBSE class 10 board exams were conducted from February 15 to March 13 in a single shift – from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., across the country.

Students dissatisfied with their results can apply for re-evaluation while students who have failed to clear the exams will be able to appear for the board compartment exams.
