CBSE Issues Sample Question Papers And Marking Scheme

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the sample question papers (SQPs) and Marking Scheme (MS) for classes 10 and 12 for the session 2024-25. Students who are appearing for the board exams can check it via the official website – cbse.nic.in.

As per the CBSE, the Sample Question Papers (SQPs) and Marking Schemes (MS) for classes 10 and 12 provide a broad template to serve as a guide to ensure uniformity and proper coverage of curricula. The SQPs also provide an understanding of the question paper design and are used for classroom teaching and learning activities with an overall focus on promoting the application of concepts.

CBSE issued the marking scheme for all major subjects such as English, Mathematics, Hindi, Social  Science, Science, Accountancy, Business Studies, Computer Applications, Physics, Chemistry, Biology etc. For language and musical subjects including Assamese, Bengali, Bharatanatyam, Bhutia, Hindustani Music (Vocal), Carnatic Music-Melodic Instruments, Carnatic Music-Percussion Instruments, Carnatic Music-Vocal, Painting, Arabic among others have also been given.

Earlier in June, CBSE announced revisions to the curriculum and content for various skill subjects, for the academic session 2024-25. These changes are targeted for courses such as Web Application for Class 11, Information Technology for Class 10 and Artificial Intelligence for Classes 9 and 11.

In an official notification, CBSE initiative aims to better prepare students with the skill and knowledge needed for the evolving technological landscape.

Also, the central board of education has initiated the Class 10 and 12 board exam 2025 registration procession. Students who are studying in classes 10 and 12 and will appear need to register for the upcoming board examination. CBSE has issued a notice for schools regarding the students’ list submission of Classes 10 and 12 for the 2024-25 board examination.
