CBSE Provides DigiLocker Access Codes To Schools; Class 10th, 12th Results Soon
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has directed all the affiliated schools to download the Access Code file for their students. CBSE said that the “result of Board Exam 2025 is under preparation and will be declared soon.”
The student-wise Access Code file is being made available to Schools in their Digilocker accounts, from where schools can download and disseminate the Access Code to individual students.
CBSE, in technical collaboration with NeGD, has been opening Digilocker accounts for Class X and XII students every year in advance to provide digital academic documents through CBSE’s digital academic repository.

To strengthen the security and privacy of students’ data, CBSE introduced a 6-digit Access Code-based activation for students’ Digilocker accounts. After activation of Digilocker accounts, students can access their Digital Academic Documents under the ‘Issued Documents’ section.
Steps to Download Digilocker code
Schools can follow the below mentioned steps to download the Access Code file for their students:
Step 1: School will go through the link – cbse.digilocker.gov.in
Step 2: Login using the LOC credentials and select ‘Login as School’ from the dropdown section.
Step 3: Click on the Download Access Code file. A new screen will appear from where schools can download the PIN
- For Class X students – click on Download Access Code for Class X
- For Class XII students – click on Download Access Code for Class XII
Step 4: After downloading the file, schools can share the Access Code individually with the recpective students in a secure manner.

Note: The same process extends to the students of CBSE affiliated schools abroad. The students of these schools can access their Digilocker academic documents via Digilocker in the given ways.
Step 1: visit the portal – results.digilocker.gov.in.
Step 2: Create a ticket on nad-support.digilocker.gov.in with category ‘CBSE International Students 2025’
