IIM Calcutta To Release CAT 2024 Admit Card Today
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta is set to release the CAT 2024 admit cards today on Nov 5, 2024. Candidates can visit the official website – iimcat.ac.in to download their admit cards. The CAT 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on November 24, 2o24. The registration window for CAT 2024 was opened from August 1, 2024, till September 20, 2024.
The Common Aptitude Test (CAT) is conducted for admission to postgraduate and doctoral-level business courses at Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and other institutes where CAT scores are accepted for admission. Candidates will be shortlisted based on CAT 2024 score and other parameters like academic performance and gender diversity. Those who qualify for the CAT exam further go to the next round of admission to IIMs.

The CAT 2024 exam consists of three key sections including Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitive Ability (QA). The total duration of the exam is 120 minutes with 40 minutes for each section. The exam will contain 66 questions in both the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) format and the Type-In-The-Answer (TITA) format. The marking scheme includes +3 points for the correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for the incorrect response.
CAT 2024 admit card: How to download
Step 1: Go to the official website – iimcat.ac.in
Step 2: Click on the CAT 2024 admit card link given on the IIM Calcutta homepage.
Step 3: Enter the login credentials – registration number and date of birth
Step 4: Admit card will appear on the screen, check all the details carefully
Step 5: Download and save/printout the admit card for further use
