IIM Calcutta Expects To Announce CAT 2024 Result Soon
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta is set to release the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 result soon. The CAT 2024 exam was held on November 24, 2024, and the provisional answer key was also released by the institute on December 3, 2024. Candidates were allowed to raise objections to the answer key by December 5, 2024.
Candidates who qualify for this stage will appear for the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. These rounds assess the candidate’s communication skills, critical thinking, and ability to articulate thoughts under pressure.

A total of 2.93 lakh candidates appeared for the exam with an overall attendance of 89%. As per the analysts, the CAT 2024 cut-offs are expected to be high this year as the paper was moderately easier compared to the previous year’s exams. The IIM CAT question paper had three sections – verbal ability and reading comprehension (VARC), quantitative ability (QA), and data interpretation and logical reasoning (DILR).
There is no limit to attempt the CAT exam whcih is conducted every year for admission to management programmes offered by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and participating B-schools.
CAT Result 2024: How to check
- Visit the CAT official website, iimcat.ac.in.
- Click on the CAT score card 2024 download link.
- Enter CAT application number, password and security pin
- Enter the login credentials and the CAT score card 2024 will be displayed on the screen
- Download and save it for further use
