IIM Indore Hosts Pre-Convocation Ceremony Ahead of 26th Annual Convocation
The Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) marked the commencement of its 26th Annual Convocation with a grand Pre-Convocation Ceremony held today on campus. The event recognized the achievements and contributions of students across various domains, setting the stage for the main convocation scheduled for tomorrow, March 29, 2025.
During the ceremony, student committee coordinators were appreciated for their exceptional leadership and dedication. Prof. Himanshu Rai, Director, IIM Indore presented them the certificates of appreciation. Additionally, top-performing students across academic programmes were honored for their outstanding scholastic achievements.
Expressing his pride and admiration, Prof. Himanshu Rai said, “Today is a great day as we come together to celebrate the hard work, passion, and perseverance of our students. It fills me with immense joy to witness their achievements and honor their dedication. Tomorrow, 788 talented individuals will receive their degrees, and our gold medalists will be recognized for their extraordinary accomplishments. I look forward to celebrating their success and the limitless possibilities that lie ahead for them.”
As part of the celebrations, IIM Indore also announced the Alumni Awards 2024, recognizing distinguished alumni for their remarkable contributions across various fields.
The Pre-Convocation Ceremony concluded with an evening of cultural performance by students of Sunbeam Varuna, Prayagraj.
The performance was a mesmerizing blend of poetry, music, and movement, weaving memory and urban landscapes into a living, breathing city of verse. Haunting soundscapes met the rhythms of Kathak and Butoh, while words from Faiz, Kabir, and Ginsberg painted love, loss, and hope. It was an abstract, immersive journey—where poetry became both refuge and revolution.
The celebrations now lead into the 26th Annual Convocation tomorrow, where graduates will take their next step toward a promising future.
