Is CBSE Result Released? Panic As Results Website Does Not Open For Many
As many parents and students tried to open the CBSE results website today morning after many reports suggested that the board results will be released anytime soon, the official results website – cbseresults. nic. in – did not respond, and that led to panic.
However, the link is operational, and it is opening for several others. The panic was caused mainly by two factors: One, the anticipation created by the SEO-driven news media houses who have been publishing minute by minute updates and posting them on social media; and two, the expectation that the Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE will release CBSE results around May 12 keeping the results announcement date of last couple of years in mind.

CBSE Results: The website cbseresults.nic.in was not opening for many
Results were typically announced in mid-to-late May pre-2020, delayed to July/August during 2020–2022 due to the Covid pandemic, and returned to mid-May from 2023 onward. Recent years show simultaneous announcements for both classes.
CBSE results for Classes 10 and 12 can be accessed through multiple official platforms of the board and the Government of India.

The primary websites that hosts results are cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, and results.cbse.nic.in, where students can log in using their roll number, school number, and admit card ID.
DigiLocker (digilocker.gov.in), a secure, cloud-based platform by the Government of India for storing, sharing, and verifying digital documents, offers secure access to digital marksheets, requiring a 6-digit access code provided by schools and linked credentials like a mobile number or Aadhaar ID.

The UMANG app, available on Android and iOS, allows result checks with similar login details. For areas with limited internet, as per reports, CBSE provides an Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) at 24300699 (with area code) and an SMS service (details announced closer to results). Results are expected between May 8-13, 2025, based on past trends. Original marksheets must be collected from schools for official use.
