CBSE Class 12 Result: How To Check Marks Online, DigiLocker And UMANG
The Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to announce the Central Board of Secondary Education Class 12 Result 2026 soon on its official result portals.
Speculation around the result declaration has intensified after a “Result Coming Soon” banner linked to Class 12 results reportedly appeared on DigiLocker.
Students who appeared for the CBSE Class 12 board examinations are now eagerly waiting for the official announcement. The exams for the 2026 academic session were conducted from February 17 to April 10 across the country.

This year, CBSE introduced the On-Screen Marking system for digital evaluation of answer sheets. The new system was aimed at reducing manual errors and speeding up the result preparation process.
Once released, students will be able to check their marks through the official CBSE websites:
Apart from the official websites, results will also be available through DigiLocker, UMANG and SMS services.
To access the result online, students will need:
- Roll number
- School number
- Admit card ID
Due to heavy traffic immediately after the result announcement, students are advised to use alternative digital platforms if websites become slow.
Students can follow these steps to check their scorecards online:
- Visit the official CBSE result website.
- Click on the “Class 12 Result 2026” link.
- Enter roll number, school number and admit card ID.
- Submit the details.
- Download and save the provisional scorecard.
How to Download CBSE 12th Marksheet Through DigiLocker
Students will also be able to download provisional digital marksheets through DigiLocker shortly after the declaration of results.

Steps to Download Marksheet
- Log in to DigiLocker using Aadhaar-linked or registered mobile credentials.
- Open the “Education” section.
- Select “Central Board of Secondary Education”.
- Click on “Class XII Marksheet”.
- Enter examination credentials.
- Download the provisional marksheet.
The original marksheets and certificates will later be distributed through schools.
Students can also use the UMANG app to check their results.
Steps to Check Through UMANG
- Open the UMANG application.
- Select CBSE services.
- Enter roll number, school number and admit card ID.
- Submit details to view the result.
While CBSE has not officially confirmed the exact result date yet, reports suggest the Class 12 results may be announced today, tomorrow or sometime during the current week.
CBSE had announced Class 12 results on May 13 in both 2024 and 2025, while the 2023 results were declared on May 12.
Last year, the overall CBSE Class 12 pass percentage stood at 88.39 per cent.
After the declaration of results, CBSE is expected to begin several post-result services, including:
- Verification of marks
- Re-evaluation applications
- Photocopy requests for answer sheets
- Compartment examination applications
